Two males and a younger girl have been arrested for allegedly posing as medical practitioners to carry out numerous surgeries on residents of Andoni Local Government Council in Rivers State.
The three suspects had been recognized as Dr. Patrick Effiong, Williams Biranwi, and Gift Harvest.
The two males claim to be doctors whereas the woman mentioned she is an auxiliary nurse.
Meanwhile, following their arrest, Erastus Awortu, the Andoni Council Chairman confirmed the event as he famous that they suspects had been on an unlawful medical mission to the native authorities with out proof of {qualifications}.
He added that the suspects had been quacks and have been going in regards to the group performing several surgeries on some unsuspecting victims.
Erastus ended by saying that they had been handed over to the police for additional investigations.
