The Federal authorities of Nigeria is in dialogue with the US authorities in regards to the risk of extraditing suspended policeman Abba Kyari for his involvement in Ramon Abbas’ aka Huspuppi, multi-million greenback fraud.
In a current interview with Channel Television, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) had disclosed this.
He said:
“It is a matter that has worldwide and nationwide dimensions.
Actions have been taken, it’s a work-in-process regionally and internationally and we’re doing no matter it takes to make sure justice is finished throughout the context of the legislation regardless of the personalities which can be concerned.
When criminality is concerned, Nigeria and US naturally work collectively when there are parts of the offences which have taken place within the various jurisdictions.
So, Nigeria is doing the needful by method of supporting what America is doing for the aim of making certain that the instances are tried accordingly throughout the context of the American context of it.
