“I won’t bury him even if it takes 30 years to get justice”

His place comes after a report of his late son’s post-mortem outcomes carried out on the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, exonerated the five students and staff of the college accused of complicity in his son’s death.

Speaking to the PUNCH on Friday, Sylvester Oromoni Snr stated, “The household doesn’t have energy. We solely depend on God.

“If they insist that the varsity will reopen, there isn’t a downside. If God retains me for 20 or 30 years, I’ll observe up this case. Government will come, the federal government will go. I’m not bothered. The soul of that boy is crying spherical. God is alive; He can’t be bribed.

“My son will never be buried. If it takes me 30 years to get justice, he would remain there (in the mortuary). He is my son; I won’t bury him. Nigerians should look beyond what they are saying.”
